Directions
Apply a thin even layer to exposed skin areas uniformly and completely 15 minutes prior to exposure. Reapply every 3-4 hours or after excessive sweating or swimming.

I have suffered from PMLE (extreme photosensitivity) since I was a kid and none of the sunscreens (AVENO, Neutrogena) really worked for me as I would still get hives all over my face once I'm in the sun for more than 10mins. Hats don't really work either. However, once I switched over to Fallene Cotz SPF 58 two years ago (I currently live in sunny California where the UV is extremely high months on end), I haven't had a single hives-break-out session. Yes it doesn't dry completely clear but who cares? No sunscreen is perfect (and I have tried MANY brands). Just put it on after you're dressed and you're fine.

I've been using this on my face daily for about four years. Once on it is dry to the touch, a bit visible at first but then seems to soak in. It has a coloring agent in it to make it less visible on skin, and that agent will rub off on clothing and even stain light-colored clothes, so I don't use it for anything below my face. I like that it blocks the sun only physically, without the chemicals that sting and redden my skin. I also use the lip version of this product.
